Stress management is a topic that can really affect a lot of people. Stress is a natural part of a college student's life. We have to learn to deal with it. Some people can deal with it better than others but we all get stressed. Before my senior year, I never really understood how my stress was affecting my schoolwork. I am just now trying to figure out how to control my stress so that I can, hopefully, graduate this May. I know that I can do it, but I need to learn how to control my stress. The first thing I learned from watching this video was how it can affect different kinds of people. According to the video, different personality types can cause more stress. The second thing that I learned from the video and from my own research is a way to deal with my stress. Since I returned from spring break, I have made a couple of changes. I have quit my job and isolated myself from certain people around me in an attempt to not lose focus of my goal, to graduate from college with my four year degree. The video talked briefly about dealing with stress through the practice of meditation. Meditation is the practice of basically concentrating on nothing or something that calms you. Different people have different ways of meditating whether it be a Tibetan monk or a runner going for a run. Meditation is...
