“The History Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW)”
Specific Purpose: To inform the audience about BMW history.
Central Idea: BMW leading in technology and engaging aesthetics of BMW concept vehicles. Combination of innovative technology and pioneering design.
I. BMW history stretches out almost a century; it’s important to know some, or at least the beginning of which how their brand came to be. BMW originated with three other manufacturing companies. BMW began its roots during WWI.
II. Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW), literally translated into english means Bavarian Motor Works
III. As a BMW level one master technician for the past four years. I have transitioned within the company, to see different aspects of the premium quality that the BMW brand continue to brings to its customers. I’d like to introduce you to the brand and the world of BMW.
IV. We’ll look at some key points of BMW in particular, history of the car, current models, and lastly future models
I. In 1918 the signing of the treaty of Versailles
A. BMW was forced to switch to motorcycles and then cars in 1929.
B. After the first WWI the second WWII came where BMW had to turn back into making airplane engines again.
C. At the end of the war they were left in deep financial trouble and had to liquidate most of their assets but facing financial troubles the car company made some smart decisions and has come out on top. (BMW US FACTORY)
(Transition: After years of struggle and finally getting everything to work BMW has evolved into the company we know today.)
II. BMW offers many models that can fit almost any budget any type of need.
A. BMW has the 1 to 7 series models for cars. 1, 2,3,4,6 being coupes. 3, 4,5,6,7 being sedans.
B. They also offer a range of SAV’s, X- Series...
