Speak Out!
Edmund Burke once said “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” The world experiences malevolence everyday, but it seems like anyone who witnesses those acts are too afraid to speak out about it. It is important to speak out against injustice because it can stop bad things from recurring and will encourage everyone to treat others how they want to be treated.
Speaking out against injustice is important because it can easily stop bad things from happening and continuing. About 6 years ago, me and my sister, Kylie were playing kickball with our neighbor. My neighbor started to lose the game, which didn't make her very happy. She thought it would be funny to make fun of Kylie for being dyslexic. She definitely won't ever be bullying anyone ever again after she heard what I had to say to her about the way she spoke to my sister. Speaking up can really help prevent things that shouldn't be recurring.
Another reason speaking out against injustice is important is because it will eventually cause everyone to treat others how they want to be treated. Rosa Parks is a great example of this because she spoke up against black and white segregation. Look where we are now because of her; a mostly equal world of black and whites. People are going to treat you how you treat them, so think about that before you make a decision.
Speaking out against evil is very important. When you speak out, it will help to stop bad things from continuing to happen and will teach others to treat everyone how they want to be treated. Many great things will occur when society learns to speak out for the better.
