[Juliet is the daughter of Capulet and Lady Capulet. A thirteen year old girl who was the wife of his beloved husband, Romeo, the son of her family’s great enemy. Her father wanted her to marry Paris, a noble gentleman of Verona and a friend of the Prince. Her family was one of the most prominent families of the city. The Capulets enemies were the Montagues, members of the second oldest Family of Verona, which is Romeo’s family. Juliet fells in love with Romeo, but both of the parents oppose their marriage because their families are enemies.]

Juliet is at her balcony, wearing a beautiful red dress, worried and angry about his father because he oppose their marriage. She starts to talk.

Why?! Why?! Why do I always have to obey my father? Why? Why can’t I have my own life? Why can’t I ever have freedom?!

Juliet puts her hands on her head   [frustration]

I love Romeo and what is so wrong about it? Everyone has the right to love somebody.. is it not wrong for me to partake in romance as well? Even my father has partaken in romance, but why not me? I am old enough to take responsibility for my own life. But how should I express my thoughts to him?

Walking side to side

A letter should be enough and I shall hope for the best!

Juliet takes out a pen and a paper to write the letter:

Dear Father,

I write to you because of the ache in my heart. Father, I love Romeo more than anybody else. His kind and gentle heart makes my heart yearn for him. Whenever I am around him, I feel safe and protected as he swore to love me for the rest of his life. When I feel depressed, he is the one who makes me feel happy again.

Father, I feel as if this is the most important part of life. We need someone to stay by our side forever, and I have found mine. Father, Romeo is a soldier to me, who always stay by my side and always take good care of me. Father, I...
