1.1. Political Environment
Political factor have an impact on government making and how governments are prompted to shape their policies affecting corporations. 1.1.1. Stability: The constitution of India defined India as Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic while assuring its citizens of justice, equality, and liberty. Being sovereign, it is free from external control and democratic means the government is elected by the people through universal adult suffrage. India has federal government and has a bicameral parliament. India has three branches of governance: the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary. 1.1.2. Legislative: It consists of parliament which is dived into two houses: Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. There are six national political parties in India: Indian National Congress (INC), Bharatiya Janta Party, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Nationalist Congress Party and Bahujan Samaj Party. All national parties except CPI and CPI (M) favors free market policy. However, CPI and CPI (M) were never voted to power in center. Besides national parties, there are numerous state parties...
