My lovely family consists of seven member: my mom, my dad, my four sisters, and me. My parents were both and raised in Canada. My two eldest sisters were also born in Canada ,but were raised her in England. My next two older sister were in Canada and were raised in England. And then there was me. I'm the youngest and I was born and raised here in England.
My family has influenced my a lot and helped me become the person I am today, and for that, I am forever grateful. We have together been through many tough times but have always supported each other no matter what. One of the most toughest incidents which my family and me have faced is when my dear grandmother passed away. It was a mournful time but also a time where all my family came together and made it easier for each other.
Throughout my life I knew my grandmother to be a beautiful and selfless person who was always there for you. Her love was kind, and never selfish. She left a piece of herself when she left this earth. It was about 7 years ago when our family was up for a rude awakening when my grandmothers health took a turn for the worst. She was diagnosed with cancer. For about three months she was on chemo therapy, but she was already on her fourth stage when they had figured out she had cancer. I was in my room when our family back home called my dad from Pakistan and told him the news that she had passed away. It was the sixth of March 2008. It was also the first time I saw my dad cry in such a miserable way, it really hurt me. All my family and cousins came over to our house. We consoled each other through that difficult time, no one left anyone's side.
It was a warm feeling seeing everyone together despite the many issues and problems our families might have had with one another. It went to show that whatever complication we have, in the end we will always have each other's back during times of hardships. There is peace, prosperity, love and care.
