The purpose of this paper is to fully critique BIPAC’s Market Research for 2008-2009. In reviewing the research the research design will be determined and identified. The data collection methods that were used for quantitative and qualitative data will also be evaluated. The paper will also analyze the questions discussed in the questionnaire, while the actual questions are not available. The samples used and the sample design will be reviewed and issues of sample size and sample bias will be discussed. By the end of this critique, it will be determined whether the 2008-2009 Market Research Report performed by BIPAC served its purpose and met its goals and objectives.
BIPAC conducted a market research so information could be gathered from the company’s participating members that have Prosperity Project website. The company was looking at the effectiveness of distributing and communicating their pro-business messages. The research was intended to get an insight of the employees understanding of information their employees provide on issues impacting the business community. The research’s goal was to determine how the employer information impacts the employee. The company also wanted to gauge the impact of the information has on the employee’s awareness of issues and participation in the political process. The research touched upon the areas sources of information available to employees concerning politics, healthcare and the global economy.
Employees of Florida Power & Light, PPG and members of the American Forest & Paper Association were interviewed. The companies were selected and the employees surveyed because they had a high level of activity and innovation in reaching out to employees and members with their pro-business...
