Our world population is rapidly growing and will continue to grow throughout history. The human population has grown aggressively over the past 200 years. Just in 2011 we hit our 7 billion milestone. As we add in this new milestone, it is very important for us to reflect on how we got here and also how will it affect us in the future. One of the most common known reasons of our increasing population is health and healthcare. With the world’s health care getting better, a lot of people are living longer and also able to have kids. More women have gained control of their fertility rates with the improved health care.These causes lead to a serious population growth.

Improvements in health care has definitely had an effect on the human population. These improvements in health care has extended life expectancies and has also reduce human death rates all around the globe. This has led to many causes, including the birth rate to overtake the death rate in many nations. Some examples of the improved health care are water sanitation, developed antibiotics, the birth control pill, vaccines for polio and measles, and destroying of many diseases. Against these advantages, there is also much of the world’s population living in horrifying poverty. This is happening in areas where the human population is rapidly growing by the second. Billions of people have real problems such as malnutrition, lack of clean water, no shelter, serious diseases, and even no family to take care from. Even though there are many people surviving horrible illnesses and living their life great, there are also many people who are suffering from huge lack of health care.


From the local to the global level, a significant number of public health challenges involve sexual and reproductive health. The most common are known as HIV/AIDS( identified in 1983), but there are definitely other sexually transmitted infections. A major improvement in health care...
