The fact that celebrities could possibly feel unjustly hounded by the media seems extremely naive.   The media's job is to make people want to see them. Each person has the right to chose their own career path. Each which has its own rewards and difficulties. Each individual has to weigh these options when making this decision. This is just a fact of life.

Many children grow up with the dream of becoming a firefighter or a doctor. At this point in a child's life the choice is a more superficial one. They only see the “glitz and glamor” of any job. When you grow up, you realize that there are a lot of factors to consider when deciding on a career choice. There are certain factors for a person to consider when making decisions about their future in a career. These things include: educational requirements, earning potential, future job outlook, day to day job duties, social or non-social job, location of most eligible positions, willingness to relocate, hours per week, advancement opportunities if any, this list could go on and on.

In most cases celebrities publicly seek out publicity and attention from the media when it suits them and then complain when it doesn't. They earn a lot of money as a result of this attention. I do not believe that I could sell my wedding pictures for millions of dollars, do you? I definitely believe that it takes a certain kind of personality to want to become a celebrity. You have to like to be the center of attention. You have to like for people to be looking at you and wandering about you all the time. They work their whole lives to get the cover of a magazine or a leading role in a movie. The media's job is to make a celebrity interesting to the public. Seeing a persons picture everywhere, hearing about them on television, these are things that bond the public to the celebrity, they make the public feel like they know them, so they begin to want to know more.
