Alphabet Games culture begins with the original 3 members of the company who opened the business due to their love for software and gaming. Followed by the need to expand their staff due to the increase in demand. According to Robin the selection of staff is split into two sections ‘Top Management’ and ‘Socialisation’. This is to allow the top management to be in charge of sticking to the culture shaped by the creators which is very important as this culture is what has attracted their regular customers and if it was lost they may risk loosing cliental. With reference to the case study the culture and passion have remained within Alphabet Games despite their need to employ more staff.

Furthermore according to Scheins levels of organisational culture (Diagram shown below) shared values and taken for granted assumptions are extremely important and fundamental to Alphabet Games. When members of a business have strong believes/basic assumptions they find behaviour that is not in line with their assumptions wrong. For example the creators of Alphabet games will assume that every member of staff that they have employed shares the same love for gaming as them and are passionate so that when anyone speaking with an employee of Alphabet Games about the business will sense that form them giving of a good vibe.
