In today’s society bullying influences thousands of people a day. Children fear going to school due to the physical and emotional pain they receive throughout the day. Bullying leads to teenage problems like depression, suicide and other long term problems.
Being bullied every day for years can cause unbelievable trauma to the young minds. After being bullied, as kids grow up they begin to lose trust in people and begin to distance themselves from the outside world. Bullying can be committed even outside the school setting. Cyber-bullying can cause much worse damage than being bullied in person. Sometimes cyber-bullies hide their identity and cause pain to others for the thrill. Children begin to not trust each other because the world has turn into a place for hate and loneliness. People go out of their ways to cause trauma to those around them and people who trusted them. Bullying in schools is a serious issue that school officials need to take with caution. There are many types of bullying; there is physical abuse, taunting, and exclusion of activities. There are endless ways to bully an individual. Those being bullied then feel inadequate isolated and feel like they are a prisoner of their bully. Bullies will begin to put their hardships on others to relieve the pain on them. Others bully due to a sexual preference, race, weight, appearance or intelligence. Having troubles at home can cause children to go to school and take out their frustrations out on others. Bullies may not have any reasoning at all. Bullying needs to be controlled and stopped.
An epidemic has been created across schools everywhere, this outbreak is bullying. Each child that gets bullied has a greater risk of having low levels of self-confidence, anxiety, and depression. Being bullied can cause astonishing amounts of trauma and can lead to...
