Beauty in the dictionary is summarized as the quality in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the sense. Beauty is found in both the inner and the outer appearances. I think beauty mainly comes from the inside. A person who can have it all, jewels, nicest clothes, and the finest things can have the ugliest personality making them look ugly on the outside. Yet a person who doesn’t have it all can have the beautiful personality making them have beauty on the inside. According to the Bible in 1 Peter 3:3-4 it says,” Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.” What is it saying is that it was written to warn women not to follow the customs of some of the Egyptian women who, during that time period, spent hours and hours working on their hair, makeup, and finding the perfect outfit? God would rather see women work on becoming beautiful on the inside — the kind of beauty that lasts forever. Most people agree that a model is beautiful because of her outward appearance, but then you look at their inner beauty and it totally ugly. The body is beautiful but they will not have the same body forever. Beauty in the outsides fades and we age and get wrinkles as we get older but the inner beauty doesn’t. Personality never fades no matter how old a person can get. Beauty is not just the physical part and it’s also personality.
Each individual defines their own list of qualities in which they claim beauty possess. Yes, smiling can be beautiful to one and not the other. Beauty is often compared. People with influence make something they considered beautiful trend.
