Introduction
Apple Inc. is an international American company located in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops and sells computer software, computer electronics, personal computers and online services. Its best known for hardware products such as   the Mac line of computers, the iPhone smartphone, the iPod media player, the Apple watch smartwatch and the iPad computer tablet. It offers online services which include the iTunes Store, the iCloud, and the App Store. Apple also possesses a wide range of consumer software which includes the Safari web browser, the iTunes media browser, the I life and iWork creativity and productivity suites and also the iOS and the OSX operating systems.
On April 1, 1976, Apple   was founded by, Ronald Wayne, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs and is the world’s second largest company in the field of Information technology in terms of revenue directly after Samsung Electronics and is also the world's third largest mobile phone maker.   On November 25, 2014, in addition to being the largest publicly traded corporation in the world in respect to market capitalization, Apple also became the first U.S. company in history to be valued at over $700 billion. As of 2014, Apple employs 72,800 permanent full-time employees, maintains 437 retail stores in fifteen different counties, and operates the online iTunes Store and Apple store, the former is the world’s largest music retailer.
Apple's worldwide annual revenue in the year 2014 totaled to US$182 billion. Apple currently enjoys one of the highest levels of brand loyalty in the world.   In accordance with the Interbrand Best Global Brands report of 2014, Apple is considered to be the world's most valuable brand with an astounding valuation of $ 118.9 billion.
